NEDUMKAYAM - THE RAINFOREST IN MALAPPURAM - NILAMBUR

Nedumkayam is a rainforest situated in Nilambur in the district Malappuram. The Rainforest is situated on the bank of Chaliyar river. The place is only 15 kilometers far away from Nilambur town. KODIKUTHIMALA - THE HILL STATION IN MALAPPURAM ( Ooty of Malappuram )

Kodikuthimala is a hill station located in Kerala in the district Malappuram. There are so many hill stations are out there in Kerala. But, Every place has its own uniqueness. The highest point in kodikuthimala is elevated around 500 meters. The place is also known as Ooty of Malappuram.

It is not easy to reach the top of this Hill. Here the word "kodi" means flag and "mala" means hill. The name was given to the hill because the British soldiers placed their flag here. Now, It is the best nature spot in Malappuram.
